The STARTALK Good Will Summer Immersion Program is a federally funded program that provides a rigorous but fun Chinese language immersion class for students 3rd to 9th grade. Chiao Hsin Chinese Language School, in partnership with the Montebello School District, operates the STARTALK program.
Since 2007, Students from the Montebello school district and surrounding communities have benefited from the beginning, intermediate, and advance level Chinese classes provided by STARTALK. STARTALK teachers are specially trained to teach students with little to no Chinese language background and hope to inspire them to continue their language learning education.
During the 5 week classes, students immerse themselves in the Chinese language as well as the culture, making new friends along the way. Elective credit is available for high school students of the Montebello School District if they complete the summer course.

- Go to http://www.itlanguage.org/student/ and click on Class Schedule/Enrollment
- Click on 'Create an account' and fill out all the required fields. You will have to confirm and continue your registration through email!
- After submitting your application, sign into your account.
- Click on 'Class Schedule/Enrollment and find Macy Intermediate School (M12). Select the class level you would like to enroll in.
- Confirm and choose your payment method and you're all set!
